The Tillandsia Balbisiana is growing in Central America, Mexico, Venezuela, and Colombia. In nature the plant is actually myrmecophytic, which means it grows in a mutualistic association with a colony of ants. It’s leaves are green, long, flat and thin. The plant is a tall type of tillandsia and the leaves will curl and hang downward when he grows.
The tillandsia Balbisiana prefers indirect sunlight and likes to be sprayed with water like twice a week (less in winter), preferably with our Air Plants care spray. We are able to supply you with this particular air plant with an average length of around 8 centimeters.
