Description
The Tillandsia Melanocrater is a unique species that occurs in various colors. The pointed leaves of this plant can differ from yellow-green to red. Like all other types of Tillandsia, the Melanocrater descends from the bromeliad plantfamily. The Tillandsia Melanocrater is kind of similar to the Tillandsia juncea if you look at the pointy leaves and thin form that both have. However, the Melanocrater is generally much smaller.
The Tillandsia Melanocrater is native to Central America and Mexico. This species also grows a flower from the heart of the plant, which can become a beautiful red, pink or purplish color. However, Corsa Plant brings the Tillandsia Melanocraters to the Netherlands before the flowering stage occurs. At the main location in De Lier, cultivation will be continued.
