The Tillandsia Stricta is native to Venezuela, Trinidad, Guyana, Suriname, Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay, northern Argentina, growing either on both the sands of beach dunes and in trees. This air plant is an evergreen, clump-forming and short-stemmed tillandsia species with leaves arranged into thick rosettes. The Tillandsia stricta could differ from soft leaved specimens to much harder, stiffer types and different coloured forms from light green leaves to silvery leaves. Therefore, not every ordered Stricta plant is the same as the one in the picture. Every single air plant is unique in its form. In its flowering stage, this air plant could produce bright rose or red spikes with blue flowers.
The Tillandsia Stricta likes to be sprayed lightly with water, or preferably with our air plants care spray. This plant could be perfectly used in wedding bouquets, flower arrangements and for other green decorative purposes.
