The Tillandsia Schiedeana clumb is native to semi-arid areas in Mexico, Central America, Venezuela and Colombia. At altitudes of 200 to 1700 meters, this air plant grows in open tropical forests on both cacti and burseras. The Tillandsia Schiedeana is named after the collector/botanist Christian Julius Wilhelm Schiede. This air plant is very unique because of its very special shape, with thin blade-like green leaves that go out tightly from the ‘(main) stem / branch’. During the flowering period of this air plant, a large flower-like branch will develop that produces red/yellowish flowers.
The Tillandsia Schiedeana clumb prefers a light environment and sunny surroundings. In addition, the care is very easy. With a spray of (tap) water 1 to 2x a week or preferably with our air plants care spray, this plant will certainly be satisfied.
