Tillandsia Tectorum Extreme

The Tillandsia Tectorum is an adorable species within our air plants assortment. It features layers of soft and fuzzy leaves. The silvery-white colored ‘fuzz’, also known as ‘trichomes’, naturally protects the air plant from drying out and basically reflects direct sunlight. The tectorum could be used beautifully in wedding bouquets for example.

It prefers drier, less humid, warmer environments.This air plant is particularly special and can go long periods of time without water. If it gets wet, it needs time to be dry. So best is to wait until the Tillandsia Tectorum is dry, before spraying/ misting it a little again with normal water or preferably with our air plants care spray. Keep it in an area where it can be dry between waterings and/or make sure it gets lots of air.
