Die Luftpflanze Tillandsia streptophylla hat gewisse Ähnlichkeit mit der Tillandsia xerographica, ist jedoch etwas kleiner und zugleich grüner. Die Luftpflanze Tillandsia streptophylla bevorzugt einen hellen Standort und mag es, gelegentlich mit dem Take Airplants Pflegespray eingenebelt zu werden. Alternativ kann Leitungswasser verwendet werden (besprühen).
